It's only fitting that an uplifting song called "High Hopes" would end up being Panic! At The Disco's biggest hit to date. Late last year, the Pray For The Wicked single was certified Platinum by the RIAA (which means it's sold at least a million units, NBD), hit No. 1 across three different radio formats, and peaked higher than any of the band's other singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (yes, including "I Write Sins Not Tragedies"). On Monday (March 25), it also became the longest leading No. 1 single on the Adult Pop Songs radio airplay chart this decade, holding the top slot for a whopping 15 weeks in a row. If it can keep it up for another 11 weeks, "High Hopes" will surpass Santana and Rob Thomas' "Smooth," which holds the all-time top honor with 25 consecutive weeks at No. 1.

Panic! At The Disco is also hitting milestones with other projects. Just last week, the band's second album Pretty. Odd. went Platinum, nearly 11 years to the day after it was released. But these kinds of accolades are nothing new for Brendon Urie and company. All of their albums have gone at least Gold, while 2016's Death of a Bachelor also went Platinum, and the band's first album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, has gone 2x Platinum.

Meanwhile, "High Hopes" is the band's 10th song to go Platinum, with their 2008 single "Nine In the Afternoon" reaching the 2x Platinum mark and their seminal hit "Sins" achieving a whopping 5x Platinum certification.
